First Weeks in Kiev

Here are some photos of our new apartment and a couple of the city. Our apartment is right downtown. Everything has been redone recently but some of the decorating is very 70's. We lovingly refer to it as the Brady Bunch House.

The fireplace doesn't work but we do have one

The Jacuzzi Bath. Unfortunately it's been too hot for a bubble bath.

The Patio

Our three flights of stairs

Ukrainian handicap access

St. Michael's Church

St. Andrew's

Andriyivsky Street where you can buy curios and old Soviet posters

The school took us on a cruise down the Dnipro River.

The beaches along the river

Rodina Mat statue and the tops of the Lavra. The Lavra is a holy pilgrimage complex.
